Once your Sendana card is added to Google Wallet or Apple Wallet, paying in stores is quick and easy.
On Android (Google Pay):
Make sure your phone screen is on and unlocked. You don't need to open any app.
Hold the back of your phone near the card reader at checkout. Bring it as close as possible to the contactless payment symbol (it looks like a Wi-Fi icon turned sideways).
Wait for the checkmark or confirmation on your screen. That's it, you're done.
On iPhone (Apple Pay):
Double-click the side button on your iPhone.
Glance at your screen to confirm with Face ID, or use your passcode.
Hold the top of your phone near the card reader.
Wait for the "Done" checkmark and a gentle tap. Your payment is complete.
A few things to keep in mind:
Make sure you've loaded funds onto your Sendana card before heading out. You can do this anytime from the Sendana app/dashboard by tapping Card, then Add Funds.
Look for the contactless payment symbol at checkout. Most major retailers, restaurants, and convenience stores accept it.
Your phone does not need to be connected to the internet at the time of payment.
