Customs authorities in most countries require a tax identification number on the shipping declaration for international deliveries. This is a customs requirement, not a Sendana one. Without it, your package could possibly be delayed or held at the border.
Enter the tax ID issued to you by your country's tax authority. The name differs from country to country. A few examples:
Country | What to enter |
Jamaica | TRN (Taxpayer Registration Number) |
Trinidad and Tobago | BIR number (Board of Inland Revenue file number) |
Barbados | TIN (Taxpayer Identification Number), issued by the Barbados Revenue Authority |
Guyana | TIN (Taxpayer Identification Number) |
Ghana | TIN or Ghana Card PIN |
Nigeria | TIN or NIN |
Kenya | KRA PIN |
South Africa | Tax reference number issued by SARS |
If your country isn't listed, use whichever number your tax authority issues to individuals.
